What are Matters?

A matter is anything that has mass and occupies space. Examples of matters are water, bags, balloons and metals.

Non-matter does not have mass or occupy space. Examples of non-matters are sunlight, shadow and sound.

The amount of space an object occupies is the volume of the object. Smaller objects occupy less space than larger things.

Matter has mass. Some objects are heavy and some are light.
