Water Cycle
The water in the world is on the move all the time.
The heat from the Sun makes water from the seas, lakes and rivers evaporate into the air to form water vapour.
The water vapour rises and when it reaches colder air, it condenses into tiny drops of water
These tiny drops of water collect together to form clouds.
As more and more vapour condenses, the droplets of water get bigger and heavier until they fall as rain.
In cold countries, the water droplets may even freeze to form snow.
The water falls back to the earth goes back to the rivers, seas and oceans.
The water in the rivers, seas and oceans are then evaporated by the Sun's heat again.
The continuous movement of water from the Earth to the air and from the air back to the Earth is called the Water Cycle.
The amount of water on Earth does not change, it is moving around in a cycle.
